Challenge
Natural Parenting wanted to expand by online services by offering their content online via subscriptions. A second challenge was to bring their existing online forums users into closer engagement with the magazine.
Solution
The Freeway solution was installed and integrated with PayPal. The existing forums have been added to the main site using a Single Sign On module developed by ZacWare.
Results
ZacWare extended the typo3 CMS to support subscriptions. Customers can preview articles online but only access the full article if they have subscribed to that content. Advertisers can upload their copy and pay online. Magazine stockists can order online as well. Now the forums users really feel like part of Natural Parenting adding thousands more potential customers.
The existing vBulletin forums have been integrated with typo3 bringing the forums users much closer to the Magazine. User login to either the main website and forum are now linked.
